Amazing Adaptation
The most unusual and fascinating bird for me in the rainforest was the Common Potoo, locally called the Stickbird. Even when it was pointed out, I could hardly see. They choose perches that are similar in diameter to their own bodies so that they can better blend in with the stump. Nature's adaptation is astounding.
